PuzzleYYC — A Calgary Community Puzzle Movement
Calgary, assembled one piece at a time.
Challenge
Calgary needed a single surface that connected the city's drop-in puzzle community — recreational, competitive, learning, and family groups — without replacing the real-world tables already running.
Insight
Don't build a platform. Build a connective brand that points to what already exists, recruits volunteers, and rallies the city toward a shared annual event.
Answer
PuzzleYYC — a community brand and site for Calgary's drop-in puzzle movement. Designed and built by MZM Labs. Launching May 2026, building toward the Great Calgary Puzzle Swap.
Results
A community brand for Calgary’s drop-in puzzle movement.
PuzzleYYC is launching now. Recreational, competitive, learning, and family — four ways into a city-wide puzzle community that connects existing groups rather than replacing them.
MZM Labs designed and built the brand identity, the site, and the volunteer-recruitment surface. The work continues toward the Great Calgary Puzzle Swap.
This is a launch placeholder. The full case study lands once the volunteer site is live.
